“The Hannover Messe 2024 was a complete success for D&TS. The strong response at the IDTA stand was particularly impressive,” says Pierre Häcker from D&TS. “The great demand for the Digital Footprint and the Digital Product Passport as well as the strong interest in the ECLASS Standard for data structuring were definite highlights. Our sub-model for material creation and classification in leading systems and our AI / AI-based approach to ECLASS classification attracted a lot of attention among visitors. It confirms that the trend is moving in this direction and we look forward to being present again next year. At the IDTA stand, Class.Ing and D&TS stood out as Service Providers for ECLASS.”

Although ECLASS had no stand of its own, the Standard was very successfully represented by several partners: The two IT Service Providers Class.Ing and D&TS GmbH were present at the IDTA joint stand in Hall 9, Stand F27 with their own stands.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Christian Block and Frank Scherenschlich gave a presentation on the initiative of Class.Ing entitled “ECLASS & AAS... a strong duo in Industry 4.0”. In the joint presentation, both standards were presented in a general and application-oriented manner. The interaction was explained using practical examples such as sensor technology or sustainability topics.
Thanks to Robert Habeck's visit to the IDTA joint stand on April 22, 2024, ECLASS also benefited from this special attention.
