After fundamental content for Building Information Management (BIM) was made available in ECLASS with Release 14.0, preparations for integration into the buildingSMART Data Dictionary (bSDD) could begin at the start of 2024. All technical information as well as a data model mapping for the bSDD are already available so that implementation can be planned in the next phases. The implementation will be defined in a separate working group within the “ECLASS CEG BIM” and supported by buildingSMART International.
